Post in Proper Order - Read before you post!
Updated 17/02/2018 at 18:25pm

Dear members, you must read this info before posting else no support in iForums, i am not baba Vanga!  ?

Before asking for help, Please make sure you have:

  • Asked the owner the history of the device (this could save you a lot of time)
(Has it been dropped?, Has it been water damaged?, Has a part been replaced? Has the customer, or another technician repaired it before? You might not know if you don't ask )
  • Fully disassembled the device.
  • Inspected the board thoroughly under stereo microscope.
(make sure it is clean, check for visible damage, take photos of any defects if possible)
  • Inspected/tested all parts using multimeter.
  • Performed isolation test:
-Disconnect any part that is not needed
-Try the board outside of the phone with important parts connected only
(The issue could be coming from a part you think is unrelated)
-Try these things with new parts, or known working parts
(eg; if mic isnt working, test new mic. If phone isnt charging, test new dock, if no image on lcd, test new lcd)
  • Tried the Solutions
  • Searched the iForums to see if your question has already been answered

Format your topics like this

  • The Topic Title must include the following:

Full Device Model
Fault

  • The Message must include:

History of device (water damaged, dropped, connected to copy charger or unknown)
What you have tried so far

EXAMPLE TOPIC
TITLE: Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300 No LCD image
MESSAGE: Phone was water damaged. I have replaced some filters that were corroded after reading solution, and tried a new lcd, but still no image at all. 4.6V, and -4.9V is missing, so i have replaced the ic in the solution but they are still missing.

RESULT:

  • We now know the exact model of the device, the fault it has, the history, and what you have tried so far.
  • We know you have tried everything you can, and where you are stuck
  • Other members can search the forum more easily. You could find this topic by searching

"Galaxy S3 No LCD"
"i9300 No Image"
"i9300 LCD"

This will get you the best result and benefit everyone the most 🙂

Do not message me, or other members in private to ask for help!

Additional to above rules!
When restoring some device iPod,iPhone or iPad there are always created iPodUpdater.log,iPadUpdater.log or iPhoneUpdater.log this file can be with a number as in example picture it depends how much restores one person did, what i want to people to understand is that when uploading such document here in our forums they must save as *.txt extension otherwise if you upload as is with *.log extension the file will not upload to the forum.
For more information where to find this logs visit this iTunes Errors and Fixes Topic

Dear members before posting something about this models.

iPhone 7,7p,8,8p and x specify in the title iPhone 7i or 7q so we know what type of logic board you have.
This is due to availability of 2 types of logic boards that have Intel or Qualcomm modem which have differences on components placement mostly in BB area but not limited also in ap areas.
